All that I am . . .

Thank you for teaching me everything I know about being a good mom. If I can be half as good at it as you, Sierra and Andon will be in great shape. I promise to teach them to follow their heart as you taught me. And to always say I love you. We miss you more everyday. Happy Birthday Mom. I love you.

That can't be comfortable

I'm a little behind. Mark and Sierra have been having "sleepovers" in the family room. These pictures are from last weekends sleepover. Mark stayed up to play a game while Sierra went to sleep. He looked up after he turned the game off and found this:

See the cat on the red blanket, even Bella was turned around and sound asleep.

I hope you can see the drool.

Sierra had no recollection of this which just proves she really does sleep soundly once she finally goes to sleep.

Inspiration

The kids and I joined our friends, Shawna and her son Daniel, at the Botanical Gardens on Good Friday. They currently have the Chihuly: The Nature of Glass Exhibit on display. If you can get out to see it I highly recommend it. The glass is beautiful and its simply amazing to see it in person. Shawna and I both said we need some for our yards. If only . . .

Oh, the flowers and butterfly garden were pretty cool too.

Happy Easter

Sharing some pictures from Easter. The weather was gorgeous, so we were able to stay outside for most of the days. Sierra and Emily got to play and were quite happy to have new sand. Thanks PopPop!

We have been pretty busy so expect lots of posts this week!

I Love Easter

I have no idea why, but I get such joy out of making baskets. I ordered Andon's from a different source than Sierra's and am bitterly disappointed. He'll be getting a new one next year. I went through and looked at all the stuff I have picked up the last few weeks. Oops! I overbought again. Oh well, it's only once a year. Andon's is so small I can't fit much so I am afraid he is getting the short end of the stick. Good thing he won't remember.

We got a new computer and I have no idea where Mark wants me to store pictures. As soon as Mark gives me some guidance I will post some new ones.
